December 9-11. We will be at Advances in IBD (AIBD) in Orlando, Florida - our first. Visit us at Booth 347!
February 6-8 we will be at Crohn’s and Colitis Congress in San Francisco. California- our seventh consecutive year.
February 19-22 you will find us at the European Crohn’s Colitis Organization (ECCO) ‘ 25 conference in Berlin, Germany for our second consecutive year.
Nutrition Tips and Tricks for IBD and Overlapping Conditions
In August 2024, Nutritional Therapy for IBD attended FOOD The Main Course Conferencevirtually, covering a range of topics relevant to patients with IBD.
Here is what’s relevant in the dietary management of conditions that mimic or co-occur with IBD, including IBD-related surgeries:
IBS is not the final diagnosis 👉 common causes of diarrhea, constipation, bloating, and distension in patients with IBD include:
🔸contraction of the diaphragm and relaxation of the abdominal wall
💡A catered ⬇ fat, ⬆ fiber diet for 8 weeks can partly ameliorate deficiencies in gut microbiome in patients with Crohn’s disease with colon involvement.
This diet offers a new, hopeful option for managing Crohn’s disease symptoms and improving patients’ quality of life.
Visit our recipe finder and filter on Thanksgiving recipes to find the best holiday recipes. Like this honey pecan pie that will let you forget that there was ever any other kind.
Watch the video we made last year in collaboration with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation discussing helpful tips and concerns for eating around the holidays.
